Hunter Equipment Inc. opened for business on January 1, 1975 with Larry Nelson as manager.  Hunter Equipment Inc. is a full service John Deere dealership, selling agricultural equipment for the local area.  In 1975 when the business opened, it employeed 4 full time employees and one part-time employee. Larry Nelson became part owner in 1979 with Alden Berg of Moorhead, MN.  In 1989, Bradley Berg and Larry Nelson became partners after the death of Alden Berg.  Hunter Equipment Inc. expanded in 2004, purchasing Galesburg Implement, Galesburg, ND.  Currently, Hunter Equipment Inc. is an award winning dealership with over forty employees between the two locations.  Hunter Equipment Inc. continues to sell agricultural equipment and consumer products to both farmers and homeowners.
